EU Extends Deadline for TUI's Purchase of CP Ships

The European Commission on Wednesday extended its deadline for ruling on European tourism and shipping firm TUI's plan to acquire CP Ships Ltd. The European Union executive extended the deadline to Oct. 12 from Sept. 28 after remedies were offered.
