SeaArk Delivers Patrol Boat

SeaArk Marine, Inc. recently delivered the Cayman Defender, a 38-foot Dauntless RAM Patrol boat to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Marine Unit. The fast patrol boat is to be assigned to the joint Customs, Police and Immigration Marine Unit for border protection. The SeaArk Dauntless Class vessel is constructed of all-welded marine grade aluminum. The vessel is powered by twin MAN diesel engines at 550 hp each coupled to ZF gears. This patrol boat can attain a top speed of 33 knots with a comfortable cruise of 28 knots. The electronics suite includes military communications equipment and radar/NavNet with GPS, plotter with color sounder and SAT NAV equipment. SeaArk Marine also built the Cayman Protector back in 1994, and is tasked with building a 65 foot patrol boat, Cayman Guardian, due for delivery in December.
