Aluminum Chambered Boats Receives $1.2M Development Deal
November 12, 2007
Founder/CEO Larry Wieber and the staff of Aluminum Chambered Boats recently thanked
Congressman Rick Larsen and his staff for their support and commitment over the past eighteen
months in overseeing the $1.2m plus-up funds needed to develop a multi-mission armored
watercraft. The watercraft will combine advanced electronics for communication with an
effective, light-weight armor system which will enhance the safety and communications within
joint military operations. The watercraft, by nature of its multi-mission and interoperable
capabilities, also affords extensive global commercial and humanitarian applications.
In addition to several global military applications, ACB sees significant opportunity in using the
light-weight ballistic system to up-armor a number of commercial applications.
