Ocean Safety Inks Rescue Boat Distributor Deal

June 30, 2015

Ocean Safety, a company in the worldwide supply, distribution, service and hire of marine safety equipment, announced its appointment as sales and service agents for the full range of Narwhal SOLAS approved Rescue Boats.

Narwhal models include the SV-420, SV 480, FRB 700 and SV 750 Inflatable RIBs. Their main task is to recover fallen overboard crew members from the sea, even in the most adverse conditions. They are also useful for vessel monitoring and maintenance as well as for grouping, towing and organizing life-rafts at sea.

All models are fitted to a detailed specification and have enough room to place a SOLAS compulsory stretcher on deck.

The Narwhal Rescue boat is available from Ocean Safety’s branches in Glasgow, Southampton and Plymouth, all of which are fully approved service centres. Servicing is also offered in the company’s Aberdeen branch.

Ocean Safety’s Dave Evans commented, “We have a long track record of expertise with this type of commercial rescue boat product, as well as our supply and service of SOLAS and Ships Wheel approved safety equipment, so we are ideally qualified to distribute the Narwhal SV-420.”
