HRDD Dockyard Logs Busy January

Stimulated by the news that the 2nd floating dock ( for capsize and post panamax vessels ) will put in operation in July of 2004, HRDD experienced another up surging output in January of 2004.

M/V Maritime Songkhla ( 160.38 x 24.6 x 13.6 ) from IMC ( Singapore ), 480 tons of steel renewal and the twisted hatch covers adjustment; Also, another vessel from IMC, M/V Unirial ( 225 x 32.2 x 18.3 ) finished her 12 days docking and repair in HRDD in the beginning of January, 2004.

M/V Kallisto ( 182 x 27.6 ) from Totis Maritime S. A. ( Greece ), around 800 tons of steel renewal on tank top/hold frames and ballast tanks,;

M/V Agia Pisti ( 145.27 x 24.6 x 13.6 ) from Samios Shipping Company S.A. ( Greece), around 60 tons of steel renewal, which is the sister vessel of M/V Agia Floga docked in HRDD in September of 2003;

M/V Liberty Hawk ( 189.83 x 31 x 16.5) from Nissen Kaiun ( Japan ), the damaged bulbous bow ( 18 tons ) was loft and prefabricated before vessel’s arrival, and the renewal of the bow was fulfilled within 4 days in dock; M/V Saga Sky ( 199.2 x 30.5 x 16.4 ) from Patt Manfield ( Hong Kong ) for deck crane overhauling and normal docking works;

M/V Oriental Tiger ( 134.04 x 21.2 x 10.8 ) from First Marine Service ( Japan ), around 220 tons of steel renewal on tank top and side ballast tanks;

M/V Capaz Duckling ( 270 x 42 x 23 ) from TMT ( China Taiwan ) for steel renewal of around 220 tons, one set generator renewal with owner supply, 3 sets of generator alternator maintenance, boiler/air compressor overhauling, bilge treatment tank fabrication and installment, and around 5000 m2 sandblasting and coating in holds;

Also the routine dock and repair were performed on M/V Pacific Mercury ( 189.99 x 32.2 x 16.5 ) and M/V Pacific Scorpio ( 189.99 x 32.2 x 16.5 ) from Pacific Emerald shipping inc. ( Hong Kong ), and M/V Ruby Indah ( 229 x 21.8 x 18.5 ) from Pacc Ship Managers Pte Ltd ( Singapore ).
