Harlan Doliner Joins Pepe & Hazard
Harlan Doliner recently joined the Boston office of the law firm of Pepe & Hazard, LLP as a partner in the Corporate Financing and Transactions Department, practicing environmental, land use and maritime security law. Doliner brings over 30 years of experience in environmental and land use matters to Pepe & Hazard.Within the last five years he has extended his experience in environmental matters to a concentration in maritime security matters. Doliner has been a partner in several major Boston law firms, most recently Nixon Peabody, where he was the leader of the New England environmental practice group, and then Keegan Werlin. Doliner advises clients on the environmental aspects of transactions, environmental compliance and management, redevelopment of contaminated properties, and the provision of maritime security services and technology and other maritime-oriented matters.
His peers elected him a Massachusetts SuperLawyer in 2004, 2005 and 2006. In 2006, publisher ReedLogic released the DVD “Coastal & Maritime Security and Environmental Compliance in Post 9/11†featuring Doliner. He is an adjunct professor at Boston College Law School and the Marine Affairs Institute of Roger Williams University Law School. Doliner has written and taught courses for undergraduate and post-graduate students, governmental officials, industry leaders, lawyers and environmental professionals in coastal project development, environmental impact and ecological risk assessment, wetland, maritime security and fisheries and wildlife. He has made major presentation on these and other subjects in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Doliner received his law degree from Boston College Law School. He earned both a Masters and Bachelors from The Johns Hopkins University.
