Dynamics Research Wins $3M Coast Guard Contract

Dynamics Research Corp. has received a $3 million contract from the United States Coast Guard to develop improved processes for Coast Guard missions. The contract is a five-year blanket purchase agreement for Andover, Mass.-based Dynamics. Dynamics will develop a universal task list that will include a common language for communication and coordination to improve the Coast Guard's management of workflow, productivity and risk management. The Andover-based technology services company will also develop mission essential task lists for various Coast Guard commands. The company has previously done task list management for the U.S. Navy's Warfare Development Command. For its second quarter, Dynamics earned $3.3 million, or 36 cents per share, on revenue of $76.2 million. For the same period last year, the company earned $2.2 million, or 24 cents per share, on revenue of $65 million.
