Report: Some Northrop Grumman Employees on Strike
March 8, 2007
Some employees of Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding in Pascagoula went on strike on Thursday morning, reported Fox 10
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, IBEW Local Union #733, has confirmed union members are striking. IBEW and several other unions rejected a recent contract proposal from the ship building company. Members say the proposed raises would not be enough to off-set recent cost of living increases.
