Cat C32 Marine Engines Cruise Down Under

Bass & Flinders Cruise’s first charter boat was (65 ft) was powered by Cat 3208 marine engines and has since logged over 20,000 hours. When it came time to select the engines to power Ocean Dreaming II Bass & Fliners turned to Caterpillar again.

“After consultation with One2Three Naval Architects and the builder, Aluminium Boats Australia,” chief executive Richard Ford Ford noted, “we settled on twin 12-cylinder, 1,044 bkW, Cat C32 diesel engines primarily due to our combined experience – us with our original Bass & Flinders and One2Three and Aluminium Boats Australia’s previous four or five Cat-powered vessels.”
