Neptune LNG DWP License application – Environmental Analysis

The U.S. Coast Guard and the Maritime Administration (MARAD) issued a Notice of the intent to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) as part of the review of the proposal by Neptune LNG, LLC to construct and operate a liquefied natural gas (LNG) deepwater port (DWP) off the coast of Massachusetts approximately 22 miles northeast of Boston. Public meetings will be held in Boston (November 2) and in Gloucester (November 3). Written comments must be submitted by November 18. 70 Fed. Reg. 61151
