Pearl Crossing LNG terminal – environmental statement

The U.S. Coast Guard intends to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) as part of the environmental review of the license application for the proposed Pearl Crossing LNG Terminal deepwater port, to be located approximately 41 miles southeast of Cameron, Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico. Public meetings will be held in Lake Charles (August 30), Orange (August 31), Lake Jackson (September 1), and Port Aransas (September 2). Comments on the proposal should be submitted by September 15. 69 Fed. Reg. 50395 (HK Law).
