CS Unitec's Pneumatic Band Saw Model 5 6062 0010 Wide Mouth AirBand with planetary gearbox, is engineered to quickly and cleanly cut a wide variety of metals. It is suited for cutting pipe, conduit, bolts, cable, angle iron, I-beams and structural steel. This Band Saw is ATEX certified for use in hazardous environments (Ex Zone 2), reducing the need for obtaining “hot zone work permits” required for other tools and assisting in meeting tight schedules during process shutdowns and plant turnarounds.

The Wide Mouth AirBand saw has a 1.3 HP air motor that is safe to use around water without fear of electric shock or blown circuitry. It has a cutting capacity of 8” round or 9” x 8” and is widely used in heavy-duty subsea cutting applications, as well as in offshore oil, refineries, chemical plants, marine and demolition industries. It uses 43 CFM air volume at 90 PSI air pressure. Easy to operate, it can be used free-hand or with a vise clamp. The variable-speed motor enables the operator to adapt the cutting speed to the material, maximizing both cutting performance and blade life. The body is made from stainless steel, weighs 35 lbs. and is easily carried to the job site or used in the shop.
