New Orleans Mayor Orders Evacuation, Curfew for T/S Nate

New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu on Friday ordered an evacuation of some areas and a mandatory curfew ahead of Tropical Storm Nate.

The curfew will be in effect from Saturday evening to Sunday morning, the mayor said at a news conference. Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi declared states of emergency as the storm twisted toward the U.S. Gulf Coast on Friday after killing at least 22 people in Central America.
