Spellings to Succeed Healey at ExxonMobil Marine Fuels

October 31, 2002

ExxonMobil Marine Fuels (EMMF) has appointed Jaime Spellings as Director, Global Marine Fuels in succession to Peter Healey. Spellings, who was formerly Lead Country Manager and Manager Business Services, Thailand, will operate from EMMF's global headquarters at Leatherhead, U.K. Jaime Spellings, who has been with the company for eleven years, noted the significant role played by Peter Healey in the reorganization, development and growth of EMMF following the 2000 merger between Exxon and Mobil. He said he looked forward to the challenge of continuing and building on the excellent work of Peter and his global team to improve the quality of product and the service given to customers. Healey, who is to take up a new role as Global Customer Service Manager, for ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing, said, "The past three years have seen profound changes in the marine fuels and shipping sectors. Consolidation, extreme price volatility, more stringent product specifications, and the rise and fall of the bunker dot.coms each presents a case in point. We have adapted, never losing sight of our stringent quality, safety and service standards. Jaime brings a broad and varied experience to the helm. I wish him smooth seas and a tailing wind."
