Proposed upgrading of berthing facilities at Jurong Port

Jurong Port will carry out construction work from 15 May to 15 October at Chevron Oronite Jetty Osak 4, Jurong Island.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.60 of 2014, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily -including Sundays & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 15.127'N / 103° 42.115'E
2) 01° 15.112'N / 103° 42.120'E
3) 01° 15.101'N / 103° 42.090'E
4) 01° 15.115'N / 103° 42.085'E

The construction activities consist of crane barge lifting, installation and tightening of the fenders.  All the machinery and equipment will be demobilized after all construction work is completed.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) keep well clear and not to enter the working area ;
b) maintain a proper lookout;
c) proceed at a safe speed & navigate with caution;
d) maintain a listening watch on appropriate VHF Channel 68 (Sinki
Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sinki control on VHF Channel 68 for assistance, if
required.
