Simrad U.K. has opened a new sales and service facility in Mylor Harbour, near Falmouth, Cornwall. The latest addition to the Simrad network opened its doors on January 1 and is set to enhance the service that Simrad and its dealerships provide in the South West of England.

The facility will serve the local fishing, commercial and leisure marine communities in this busy area of activity for Simrad. Its core services of sales, service and installation aim to provide an extra outlet for people who use Simrad electronic equipment for professional and leisure purposes. The team at Mylor Harbour is made up of experienced engineers able to provide fast and efficient service when required. Manager of the new facility, Mike Beard said, “As well as expanding Simrad’s sales in the South West, one of our main goals is to assist in the installation and maintenance of Simrad products in the area.”

“Simrad’s U.K. network is already very strong but the opening of the Mylor Harbour facility will bolster the service already available in the surrounding area,” said Jeremy Harrison, General Manager at Simrad U.K.
