ROV Friendly Salvage Tooling

Seanic Ocean Systems (formerly Mako Deepwater Inc.) announced that they recently delivered specially designed tools in support of deepwater ROV salvage operations. The tooling package included a subsea Mag Drill and two subsea Super Grinders. The order went to a leading ROV Operator in the Gulf of Mexico. 

Tom Ayars, Seanic’s President stated, “The industry continues to do more and more salvage work with ROV’s.  Each of these tools provides a cost effective solution to drill holes up to up to 6” or cut pipe up to 6” in diameter while maintaining the simple, rugged and reliable standards we have set since the inception of this company.”
