Alexander Gaivoronsky Heads Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta

Alexander Gaivoronsky was appointed Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta.

Alexander Gaivoronsky was born in the Sverdlovsk Region in 1975. In 1997 he graduated from Ural State Technical University, majoring in Turbine Construction.

Between 1997 and 2009 he worked as a compressor operator, gas facilities operation engineer, Deputy Head of the Gas Compressor Service of the Yamburg Line Pipe Operation Center, Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk.

From 2009 to 2010 he was Acting Chief Engineer – Deputy Head, Head of the Pur Line Pipe Operation Center, Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk.

Between 2010 and 2014 Alexander Gaivoronsky acted as Deputy Head of the Novy Urengoy Line Pipe Operation Center, Head of the Sorum Line Pipe Operation Center, Chief Engineer – First Deputy Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk.

Anatoly Zakharov, former Head of Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta was relieved of his post due to retirement.

Mr. Zakharov had been in charge of Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta for 17 years, providing for the secure and efficient operation of one of Gazprom’s major gas transmission subsidiaries.
