Team Lines to Call at DCT Gdansk

DCT Gdansk SA, developer of Poland’s newest deepwater port facility, has signed a contract with major Baltic feeder line Team Lines, under which the carrier has confirmed its intention to initiate regular calls at the terminal to meet increasing cargo volumes and customer interest.

DCT Gdansk is scheduled to begin operations from June 1 with two post-Panamax ship-to-shore (STS) cranes and three rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes. New road and rail links connecting DCT Gdansk to Poland’s transport infrastructure are already in place. By September 2007 the terminal will be operating with three STS cranes and five RTGs with attendant yard space and back-up machinery to give the facility
