Golden Energy Orders PARAT Boiler Plant

Golden Energy Offshore said it has decided to expand their fleet to meet the increasing demand of ORO vessels and NOFO class requirements and will within the end of March reclassify and update the ship Energy Swan according to the 2009 regulations.


Energy Swan is a PSV/ROV of ST-216 L design, built at Brattvaag Shipyard in 2005.


Part of and included in PARAT’s scope of supply will be combined electric steam and hot water boiler with capacity each of 1,250kW, including all necessary equipment for an oil recovery mobilization. Together with Westcon Yards who will execute the main upgrade on board the ship, the delivery carefully planned, organized and specially adapted for installation in an already furnished machinery room.


Energy Swan will according to plan be back in operation on the Norwegian continental shelf in the end of March / beginning of April this year.
