Keith Kirby, Director of Hurricane Energy Resigns

Hurricane Energy plc announced the resignation of Keith Kirby as a director of the Company.

In light of this, resolution 3 relating to the re-election of Keith Kirby has been withdrawn from consideration at the Annual General Meeting that was held on 23 June 2014. Mr Kirby departed Hurricane on 22 June 2014 to pursue other interests.
 
Dr Robert Trice, CEO, commented: "Keith has made an outstanding contribution to the Company and in particular his leadership of certain corporate activity, not least throughout the recent IPO process, has been not only effective but widely respected. I know I speak for all the team at Hurricane when I say that Keith's input will be sorely missed. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
