Ocean Safety Iintroduces Lifebuoy Light

January 12, 2012

One of the smallest and lightest lifebuoy lights available on the market is the Apollo lifebuoy light.

The Apollo has just been launched by Ocean Safety and uses the latest LED technology.  It is low on current consumption and high on reliability.  It has a 5 year battery life with no maintenance or battery replacement required so it saves time and expense during inspections.

The Apollo is simple to fit and comes complete with a fitting bracket to suit most marine applications.  The Apollo lifebuoy light exceeds MED/SOLAS requirements for 30 metre drop height (tested and passed 76m) and is exempt from Class 9 transportation requirements for shipments overseas. The size and weight of the Apollo means that vessel owners can phase out bigger older lights and replace them with them with this newer model. Ocean Safety, which is the UK’s largest independent supplier of marine safety equipment is now supplying the Apollo light as part of the Apollo light range.  Others in the range include the equally innovative Apollo lifejacket light.
