Oil States Industries To Expand U.S. Operations

Adding to its growing list of subsidiaries, Arlington, Texas-based Oil States Industries, Inc. has decided to further its expansion prospects with the addition of CE Marine, Inc.
Operating under the new name Oil States Skagit Smatco, the company, headquartered in Houma, La. will provide mooring systems, winches, pipe handling and other custom fabricated equipment to the Marine Industry. The company was originally formed in 1997 by Continental Ernsco as a result of the merging of SMATCO Industries, Inc. and Skagit Products.
With Bobby Thompson continuing as the new company's president, Oil States will operate sales and engineering offices in Houston, Texas and Mount Vernon, Wash.
