Integral Systems Europe Serves Navies

July 23, 2009

Integral Systems Europe (ISE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, Inc., (NASDAQ: ISYS) has been chosen to provide advanced network monitoring and management systems to the Norwegian Navy's fleet of NANSEN class frigates and Netherlands Navy NAVSAT class frigates. ISE entered into a three-year agreement with Thales and will provide the company's Compass Network Management solution for this contract as well as future yet to be disclosed projects. Compass is a product of Newpoint Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integral Systems.

Earlier this year, Thales was selected by the Norwegian and Netherlands Defense Procurement Divisions to increase the effectiveness of satellite communications for five of their NANSEN class Frigates and four NAVSAT frigates. Compass will be integrated into the Thales-provided SATCOM solution to centralize onboard equipment monitoring, giving SATCOM operators a complete overview of communication assets on each frigate.
