Modern MFG Services, Inc., announces the execution of a formal agreement acquiring Integrated Maritime Platforms International Inc. (Integrated). Integrated becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Modern MFG Services Inc. The final acquisition agreement was signed by the Presidents of both companies late last night. "We have received many calls from our shareholders in anticipation of the conclusion of this acquisition. I am pleased to report that it is now finalized," says Roger Janssen Modern's President and CEO. "We will now be focusing on the design, development and construction of the Naval Undersea Warfare Combat Vehicle Prototype as requested by the U.S. Navy." The company will also direct its attention to the numerous inquiries from other companies and countries regarding the design of specific craft using the GB Challenger design. The GB-Challenger Class Craft is a high-speed, long-range multi-mission coastal patrol craft with interchangeable mission modules. The available mission modules include military, environmental, fire suppression, personnel and cargo transport to name a few. "The applications for this type of re-configurable craft are enormous," adds Janssen.
