Manual Reporting Software Features Integrated Analysis

September 28, 2015

INTERSCHALT maritime systems AG, a provider of maritime software for cargo and fleet management, presented its solution for vessel performance monitoring, reporting and analysis software to industry professionals at the 5th International Conference on Ship Efficiency in Hamburg, Germany.
The Bluetracker package from INTERSCHALT covers all the current requirements related to the efficiency management of a ship or entire fleet. Automatic data collection on board has been expanded to include Bluetracker[express], the integrated manual reporting solution.

Bluetracker[express] facilitates manual entry of all relevant consumption indicators on board and prepares the values in a standardized manner for further analysis on shore. A predefined event matrix, guided data input and integrated plausibility check not only minimize errors, but also ensure that reports are completely filled out and thus guarantee the data quality required for comparative analyses.
The scope of supply includes individually configurable benchmarking and analysis tools of the Bluetracker web applications that are available to the respective superintendent or fleet manager to optimize the efficiency of a single ship or a fleet.
With the enhanced software version Bluetracker[express], the core elements of the Bluetracker software comprise manual and automatic data collection, visualization and monitoring of the data collected, as well as the analysis of same. The system also offers functions for optimizing a ship's trim and consumptions.
Robert Gärtner, CEO of INTERSCHALT, explained, "Bluetracker combines options for checking consumption and increasing efficiency. The ship owner and manager can access all ship and consumption data via a web browser worldwide and at any time, meaning that sustainable strategies for optimizing performance can be developed. Bluetracker[express] is embedded in this structure and expands previous options to include manual reporting on board. Only a standardized and error-free data collection enables a reliable evaluation and analysis within fleets, ship classes or routes."
