Most recently, Laino was Global Head of Environmental Solutions with Poten & Partners/BGC. He has a strong background in shipping, having graduated fromthe US Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, sailing as an officer in the US Merchant Marine as well as serving as Lieutenant Commander in the US Naval Reserve.
