Thrane & Thrane A/S Launches eCTrack

Thrane & Thrane received type approval on October 12 from Inmarsat for the world’s first Mini-C product. The product, which is named eCTrack, is available for distribution.
eCTrack is a full integrated Inmarsat Mini-C product, offering high reliability, quality and service, as well as benefits of lower cost and high performance. ECTrack integrates transceiver, antenna, power supply, and a 12 channel GPS receiver in one single unit.
This provides a significant cost reduction compared to traditional Inmarsat-C systems, and simplifies installation as well.
eCTrack is the fourth generation Inmarsat-C system from Thrane & Thrane. It is designed to penetrate the market for satellite-based land and marine tracking applications and to provide a more cost attractive product for general light marine usage and SCADA/Telematics applications.
