Wes Bush, president and chief operating officer for Northrop Grumman Corporation, has been awarded the Leadership Excellence Award by the Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership at the United States Naval Academy and the Harvard Business Review. Bush is one of five inaugural recipients to receive this award, which recognizes top executives who maintain the highest standards of ethical leadership, encourage employee development, and deliver consistent results at U.S.-based companies. “Wes Bush is most deserving of this Leadership Excellence Award,” said Ronald D. Sugar, chairman and chief executive officer for Northrop Grumman. “During his 20 years at the company, he has distinguished himself as an exceptional leader through the delivery of outstanding results, his development of people, his commitment to strong core values and his continued pursuit of the highest ethical standards.” As part of the Leadership Excellence Summit, Bush was part of a panel discussion, How Leaders Make a Difference. Along with other Leadership Excellence Award recipients, he discussed the strategic and ethical process of decision making.
