Lubmarine to Launch New Lubricants

June 4, 2003

Lubricants Specialist Lubmarine will launch a new generation of clean lubricants for medium-speed engines and high stress applications which will be available in July 2003. The new lubricant range, Aurelia XL, has been specially formulated using the latest additive technology to cope with the increasingly demanding environment of modern marine engines. The formula of Aurelia XL means engines will remain cleaner and piston ring belt, cylinder liners and piston undercrown deposits will be reduced. This will lead to greater engine reliability, especially in high stress or engine overload conditions. Aurelia XL's exceptional resistance to oxidation and thermal break down reduces oil viscosity increases and increases the life of the lubricant. The new clean formula reduces ring sticking and breakage, which contributes to a longer engine life. The lubricant offers superior protection of all engine parts against corrosion due to Aurelia XL's high BN.
