Cargotec Receives MacGregor Module Handling Equipment Contract

Cargotec has secured a new contract from an international owner for a comprehensive MacGregor module handling equipment package.

 

The equipment is destined for an offshore vessel and is scheduled for delivery next year. It will be designed, manufactured and tested in Kristiansand, Norway, in accordance with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) rules and regulations. The system is designed to operate in harsh offshore conditions.

"MacGregor module handling equipment is designed to extend weather windows on board offshore vessels during critical launch and recovery processes. They ensure that these tasks are performed safely and efficiently in challenging environments."
