Aker Build Two for Maersk

Maersk AS has announced that they will exercise the option with Aker Yards to build another two Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels (AHTS).
The two vessels will be sister vessels to the eight Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels ordered by AP. Moller - Maersk AS in March 2006. The series of AHTS vessels is of Vik & Sandvik design, VS 472. Deliveries are scheduled for 3rd and 4th quarter 2009 from Aker Yards in Norway. The vessels are of approx. 73.2 m length..
