Marine LNG systems manufacturer MAN Cryo is to deliver an LNG fuel-gas supply system to Norwegian shipowner Egil Ulvan Rederi. The new system will be installed on a multipurpose palletized-cargo and refrigerated l lift-on / lift-off (LoLo) vessel which will be built by Multi Maritime in accordance with an MM85CC design at Tersan Shipyard in Turkey. With a length of 86 meters and a width of 19.5 meters, the 3,500 dwt vessel is expected to be delivered late next year.

MAN Cryo will be responsible for building a vertical, vacuum-insulated 364 cu m LNG tank and a complex tank-connection space, with two redundant LNG supply trains. The company will also build an LNG cold-recovery evaporator and an integrated bunker station.

The multipurpose LoLo vessel will operate between the northern Norwegian port of Tromsø and Østfold in the south-east of the country.
