Navy Announces Program Management Contracts

Anteon Corporation, Fairfax, Va.; Booz Allen Hamilton, McLean, Va.; Maxim System, Inc., San Diego, Calif.; and Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego, Calif., are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for program management services. Each contractor will be awarded the minimum amount of $2,500 at the time of award. Services that may be ordered under these contracts include the functional areas of requirements, financial, business, contract and program management. These contracts include a two-year base period and four 6-month award terms, making the total potential period of performance four years. When combined, the aggregate value of all task orders awarded over the life of these four contracts will be approximately $320,000,000, covering a maximum of 4 million staff hours over the four-year period of performance. These four contractors may compete for the task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The multiple award contracts were competitively procured by full and open competition via the SPAWAR Business Opportunity Page, E-commerce web site, and Federal Business Opportunities site, with five offers received. The Space & Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-04-D-0001, 0002, 0003, 0004).
