AVEVA Activity Visualization Platform is featured at the Fiatech Technology Conference and Showcase 2014. AVEVA will be showcasing its unrivalled industrial gaming software AVEVA Activity Visualization Platform (AVEVA AVP) at the Fiatech Annual Technology Conference and Showcase, March 21-April 2, 2014 at the Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort in California. AVEVA AVP transforms operator training by enabling users to create immersive, multi-person, interactive environments from an AVEVA Everything3D or AVEVA PDMS model, as well as from 3D models created in third party modeling software.

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in relief efforts in the Gulf Coast communities affected by Hurricane Katrina. OTC is operated by 14 professional societies and trade associations representing all aspects of the offshore industry, which sponsor an annual technology conference in Houston. "The Gulf Coast region that has been devastated by the hurricane is the center of US offshore operations, and is the home of many members of the OTC sponsoring societies and industry professionals who attend OTC. We feel it is important to support the relief efforts through this donation," said Arnis Judzis, chairman of the 2006 OTC Board of Directors.
