The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District has awarded two separate contracts to URS Corporation for environmental remediation work at military facilities in Utah and Kansas. At McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas, URS will investigate, design and execute environmental remedial actions using a variety of innovative, in-situ remediation technologies to treat chlorinated and petroleum-related contaminants.
