Burger Boat Company Launches Tri-Deck Motor Yacht

Burger Boat Company launched the Sea Owl, a custom built, 142-ft Tri-Deck Motor Yacht. Sea Owl has been custom designed and built for an experienced American yachting family and is the result of an impressive collaboration between the Burger Design Team, Vripack Engineering and Andrew Winch Designs. Featuring a nautical and traditional interior for a contemporary lifestyle, Sea Owl has been completely personalized to achieve her owner’s taste and requirements. Multiple varieties of teak have been used throughout the vessel to create her traditional wall paneling, flooring and furniture.

Burger Boat’s Sycara IV Sea Trial

Sycara IV, a classically-styled custom 151 ft Fantail Motor Yacht, underwent an extensive sea trial on Lake Michigan where all systems were tested. Her owners, being particularly concerned about the environment, wanted this yacht to have low fuel consumption and a small wake that would not cause damage to the shoreline. Burger Boat at Dubai Boat Show

Burger Boat Company of Manitowoc, WI USA, will be participating in the Dubai International Boat Show March 3-7, 2009, held at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi.  Visit us at stand F1-4. Burger will also be in attendance at the inaugural Abu Dhabi Yacht Show March 12-14, 2009, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.  Visit us at stand 5E-70 in Abu Dhabi. Burger Boat Receives Interior Design Award

Burger Boat Company announced that INGOT, a 153 ft Tri Deck Motor Yacht was presented with the inaugural Michael C. Fina Interior Design Award at the ShowBoats International Cavallino Yacht Hop on January 23, 2009. This new award is for design excellence and was launched by the purveyors of interior design accoutrements; Michael C. Fina. As Steven Fina commented, “Every single yacht considered had something unique, but we were looking beyond the ‘wow’ factor. Our winner needed to reflect our benchmarks for individuality; innovation; distinctiveness; continuity; versatility; timeless look and feel; and brilliance of overall concept. Michael C.

Burger Books Brisk Business to End Year

Burger Boat Company announced the signing of the contract to build a 150-ft. (46 meter) Tri-Deck, motor yacht dubbed. Time for Us. This is the largest, most comprehensive yacht design and construction project in the Company's 141-year history. John Munford of the UK., is the interior designer. Patton Marine has developed the comprehensive specifications and will provide project management. Vripack of the Netherlands is co-engineering the yacht along with the Burger Design Team who has developed the interior layout as well as the exterior styling. Time for Us will be ABS certified, fully MCA compliant and will be available to charter in various unique cruising areas of the world. Time for Us will have handicap accessibility featuring a four-level elevator.

Burger Boat Launches Areti I

The Burger Boat Company launched Areti I on September 9, 2007. Areti I is the first of two identical 127-ft. (38.7m) tri-deck yachts to be launched this year, with Areti II set to launch later this fall. The identical yachts are owned by a young Russian industrialist who has chosen to build two identical yachts due to business interests that divide his time almost equally between Russia/Europe and the U.S. This will give him constant access to his yachts in both regions to enjoy quiet family time and to entertain business associates. The Areti exteriors are classically styled and the interiors are traditionally designed with recessed paneled Makoré and wonderful fluted column details throughout.

Time for Us Makes Progress

With the hull and superstructure well underway on the 154 ft. (47m) Tri-deck, Time for Us, the latest progress report looks excellent. The highly respected team at Vripack of The Netherlands and the Burger Design Team have joined forces to create a distinctive yacht of exceptional design and quality. Vripack has developed the structural and mechanical engineering along with a striking interior design and Burger is working to assist, support and bring the effort to fruition. The interior renderings by Vripack were met with overwhelming approval by the owners as well as the shipyard and are being put in motion. The timing couldn’t possibly be better with the sizable $2+ million investment that Burger recently made in high-tech, computerized joiner equipment.
