RightShip announced the appointment of IBM to realize the potential of Big Data within its Ship Vetting Information System (SVIS) to deliver the most sophisticated, enterprise-ready risk management system available to the maritime industry. IBM’s advanced predictive analytics and real-time reporting will give RightShip customers instant access to its wealth of information and allow them to undertake extremely accurate risk forecasting. Jan Lundberg joins Hogia after having worked 8 years with Spotfire, a leading provider of business analytics software. At Spotfire he was a department manager for a team responsible for quality assurance and user experience. During his time the company grew from 15 to over 200 employees. Previously he also worked as a language specialist at Microsoft in Dublin. Jan holds a Masters degree in Computational linguistics and brings many years of experience from software engineering and localization industry.
