MacGregor to Supply 40 Cargo Cranes for 10 Asia-built Vessels

Dech machinery specialist MacGregor, part of Cargotec, said Wednesday it had received a significant, more than EUR 25 million order for general cargo cranes for ten 84,500 dwt multipurpose vessels built in Asia.The order includes a total of 40 cranes with a lifting capacity of 75 tons. MacGregor Reports New Heavy Lift Crane Orders

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, informs it has received two "significant" orders for heavy lift cranes. These orders, totaling more than EUR 43 million, include the supply of 56 heavy lift cranes for fourteen 62,000 dwt multipurpose vessels built at two shipyards in Asia. These orders were booked into Cargotec’s 2022 second quarter orders received. The vessels are scheduled to be delivered to the owners starting in the second quarter of 2023 and will be delivered until January 2026.The orders include totally 56 cranes with a size of 80t and 150t.

Color Line Extends Maintenance Deal with MacGregor

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, said it has signed a five-year service agreement with Color Line. This agreement is an extension to previous contracts between MacGregor and Color Line and now includes all vessels in their fleet together with their Norwegian and Danish terminals.The order was booked into Cargotec’s 2022 second quarter orders received. The contract is effective from now until 2027.In the scope of supply there are two annual inspections (the pre-dock and “preseason”) of the RoRo equipment and steering gears on seven vessels and five linkspans for a period of five years.
