Mystic Seaport will unlock its vaults to examine artifacts not usually exhibited for the general public in “Maritime Surprises from the Museum’s Collections,” a new series held at the Museum’s Collections Research Center beginning Friday, January 8, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. The series continues Friday evenings February 12, March 12 and April 9. Attendees will be able to view significant items in the Museum’s collections that relate to the nation’s maritime heritage.
