Chevalier Floatels Vessel Christened at Holland Shipyards

Another fast-track delivery to Chevalier Floatels has enabled the company to yet again deliver its third vessel for service support operations in the 2013 season. Adding another versatile vessel to its fleet, Chevalier Floatels has distinguished itself as an organization that is capable of making fast-track deliveries to clients, even under the most demanding circumstances. With the DP Galyna, another high spec Service Support Vessel has entered operations that offer offshore contractors solid performance across the board.

DP Gezina Named and Christened

The naming of Service Support Vessel DP Gezina in Hardinxveld – Giessendam was performed by Mrs. Gezina Roelofs, and witnessed by the 200 guests attending the event. Mrs. Gezina Roelofs is the mother of the owner of Chevalier Floatels, Marcel Roelofs. With Chevalier Floatels new flagship, DP Gezina completed, both Chevalier Floatels and Holland Shipyards companies have added another vessel to their track record. During the conversion the vessel was lengthened by nine meters and sponsons were added to improve the sea keeping and make the vessel more comfortable for those onboard.

Megayacht Conversion to Offshore Personnel Floatel

Chevalier Floatels contracts Holland Shipyards to convert its first ship to a DP2 offshore support & accommodation vessel. In response to the growing European market for wind energy, Chevalier Floatels has initiated the development of a new design concept for staff accommodation and transport to offshore wind farms installations. Chevalier Floatels’ ethos is that their vessels are more than just ‘floating accommodations’. The wellbeing and comfort of the staff on board is paramount.
