Coast Guard delays Voyager of the Seas In Miami

The Coast Guard held the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Voyager of the Seas off the coast of Miami on Monday after discovering a security breach in the Port of Miami passenger terminal Sunday evening. A Coast Guard security team discovered an open door leading to secure areas in a warehouse during a check of the port about 10 p.m. Saturday. The security team was able to enter an area where luggage and other items bound for the ship had been screened and were being stored. Throughout the night, the Coast Guard Marine Safety Office in Miami conducted a full security sweep of the entire port of Miami. The Coast Guard's security sweep resulted in discovering additional breaches in security in the terminal area used by Royal Caribbean.
