Missing Cargo Ship Sah Lian Found

The MV Sah Lian vessel which was reported missing on September 7 while on its way from Kuching to Limbang, was found about 26 nautical miles from Tanjung Baram, Miri. Sarawak Region enforcement chief Maritime First Admiral Ismaili Bujang Pit said, the cargo ship was located at around 4pm Thursday. “The ship, which was reported to have experienced a break down, was spotted by a Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) vessel, KM Mersuji, and all its crew members are reported to be safe,” he said. “They do not need any other assistance, and the ship will be towed directly to Limbang since they are concerned that the cargo would be spoilt,” he said in a statement.
