Coast Guard Medevacs Shrimper Crewman

A Coast Guard aircrew medevaced a 45-year-old crewman from a 100-foot shrimper approximately 60 miles south of Intracoastal City in the Gulf of Mexico, Thursday. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received a request from the fishing vessel Poncho at approximately 5 p.m. reporting a crewman was experiencing stroke-like symptoms. Sector New Orleans directed the launch of a MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans to launch. Collins Engineers Donates ROV to UW-Milwaukee

With the goal of enriching students’ educational experiences and enhancing the research capabilities of marine scientists on the Great Lakes, Collins Engineers, Inc. (Collins) has donated a Phantom-300 remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee School of Freshwater Science (SFS), located at the Great Lakes WATER Institute.
