BV Performs Remote Survey for Harbor Tug in Singapore

Bureau Veritas Marine Singapore (BV), in collaboration with PSA Marine,  completed a remote marine survey for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual fuel harbor tug, PSA Aspen. Intertek Opens Malaysian Exploration and Production Center

Intertek invested £900,000 (4,143,720 Malaysian Ringgit) in a new Malaysian regional center which will bring enhanced services to the exploration and production (E&P) sector in the region. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the facility boasts two laboratories and will allow Intertek to significantly expand its locally delivered services for its existing E&P business in the region. It will be also be a focal point for the provision of local expertise through consultancy, technical support and testing services for the South East Asia region.

Commander-in-Chief Fleet Visits Ukho

The Royal Navy’s leading Operational Commander visited the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) Friday, March 27, to see the navigational services and charts that the organisation provides at first hand. The Commander-in-Chief Fleet (CINCFLEET), Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope KCB OBE, is responsible for delivering the Fleet Operational Capability. This includes the operation, resourcing and training of the Royal Navy’s ships, submarines and aircraft, and personnel including the Royal Marines.
