US Port's Master Plan Ready for Public Comment

The Port of Los Angeles has released a Draft Port Master Plan for public review and input through April 8, 2013. The Port Master Plan serves as a long-range plan to establish policies and guidelines for future development within the coastal zone boundary of the Port of Los Angeles. The Draft Port Master Plan combines the original 1980 Port Master Plan and its subsequent amendments into an updated and more concise document that reflects recent land use planning and projects, replaces outdated language, and provides an easy to understand, specific land use plan.

PHA Commission Considers Security Contract and MOU

The Port of Houston Authority (PHA) commission will consider several recommendations involving contract awards, bids and proposals, professional services and general administrative and operational matters during its meeting at 2 p.m. Barbours Cut Boulevard (off Highway 146) in LaPorte, Texas.
