Mack Boring, ECTI Offer Diesel Classes

The growth of diesel engine use in the marine industry has created a need for basic education and hands-on instruction for owners who want to do their own repairs. To address this need, Mack Boring & Parts Company and Engine City Technical Institute offer one-day basic diesel seminars and two-day diesel engine courses at three locations. The one-day sessions are designed to help owners become familiar with, or update their knowledge of Yanmar diesels. The two-day classes cover basic service and emergency repairs, along with hands-on instruction. Instruction during both classes includes the identification, removal and replacement of basic lubrication, fuel, electrical and cooling system components.
