Ethics Helpline News

Statoil's Ethics Helpline now open for all

Statoil’s Ethics Helpline has until now only been available to Statoil employees. Now the helpline will be opened up to all that wish to express a concern related to our Ethics Code of Conduct, how we do business or how we meet legal requirements. Statoil is one of the first companies in Norway to receive a license from the Norwegian Data Protection Authorities to open its Ethics Helpline to all. "Statoil is determined to be known for its high ethical standards. In our opinion breaches of laws and our ethical requirements are a threat to our company’s competitiveness and reputation," says chief compliance officer Carine Smith Ihenacho. It is therefore important to us to have an open dialogue on ethical issues both internally and externally.
