Lady Michelle is a semi-displacement hull design with 28 ft. (8.5m) beam and is capable of 19 knots and is powered by two Caterpillar 3512B main engines which develop 2,250 hp each. The shallow draft of 7.5 ft., enabling it to gain access to many ports uncommon for a yacht of this size. A 16,100 gallon (62,460 L) fuel tank will allow a large cruising range of approximately 4,200 nm at 10 knots (with 10% fuel reserved). Designed by Trinity's head designer Geoff van Aller, Lady Michelle has been designed and built with special consideration for European operations. It will accommodate an owner's party of ten in five staterooms and a crew of nine in five cabins, there is also an additional day room with a full bath that can accommodate an additional two guests if required.
