Statoil Awards Cranes Contract to Palfinger Dreggen

Palfinger Dreggen has been awarded contract for crane delivery to the Johan Sverdrup field with a total order value of approximately MNOK 285. The delivery includes seven large offshore cranes and the contract was signed with Statoil in May, in strong competition with other international crane suppliers. The cranes will have a lifting capacity of 60 tons and an outreach of approximately 60 meters and shall be delivered with full-electric drive. The electric drive contributes to both energy efficiency and reduced maintenance.

Bergen Group Dreggen Enters Strategic Partnership in Brazil

Bergen Group Dreggen has signed an agreement with the Brazilian industrial player Koch Metalúrgica with regard to strategic cooperation involving development and production of offshore cranes to the growing Brazilian oil and gas industry. The cooperation opens up great opportunities in one of the world’s most vibrant and demanding oil and gas markets. “The agreement with Koch Metalúrgica is strengthening our position in this market without being dependent on investments or a demanding establishing period. The goal is that we together can position ourselves as a major supplier of offshore cranes in Brazil,” said Halldor Rongve, Managing Director of Bergen Group Dreggen.
